LFY - June 08 issue ok, the Scribus stuff is nice as are some of the other articles
The one on Ubuntu installtion lacks any critical comments (which i find hard to believe) The article on firefoxand extensions is really nice And the artilce on Eye Candy "Visualizing information for advocacy" is really informative and the download available is a good one to read. But Hardy heron disappoints - first checked out the live cd and it seemed wow with quite a few improvements and good responsiveness after installing found that it did not reconize my BSNL USB CDMA based phone - through which i access ( only way) the net. Tried all the tricks give in the help page http://www.openpages.info/huawei.html but the help seems to work only with 7.04 and 7.10 and 8.04 simply refuses to progress to properly setting up the ttyusb0 and redirecting the USB modem to this slot. So i have given up and am back to 7.04 (yep because i don't have 7.10 ) ram On Tue, Jun 17, 2008 at 11:38 PM, Onkar Shinde <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > <snip> > > WHERE TO GET YOUR COPY? > </snip> > > Crossword book store has LFY on their shelf (at least in Pune).
