No i didnt install manually with apt-get or synaptic somehow its already available. yeah i modified my xorg.conf set refresh rate more than 75Hz but i was not able to do it. yes i often modify my xorg.conf and it has been restored back now using dpkg-reconfigure command. (sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg) > file to change the driver? Did you restart your machine after that?
