Dear Ram,
try putting this in your /etc/fstab
none /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
OR
mount -t usbfs none /proc/bus/usb
reboot
and then try doing
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
you should get the info. you are looking for.
