Use NAT in network adaptor in VirtualBox. XP should get an IP in the
range of 10.0.0.x using DHCP with gateway of 10.0.0.2 AFAICR. This has
worked for me while having Linux guests, never worked with XP or any
windows as a guest, but I do not see any reason why it wouldn't work
for Windows.
