Ok no confusion - you do have an ext3 extension thats good, and you do have a hard disk install but your fdisk -l does not show the ext 3 partition so may i suggest running fdisk il under sudo mode "sudo fdisk -l" the password will be your login password and "du -h -T" if you want to know moe about these command run for command line "man foo" where foo is any command you choose ram
