Hi! To upgrade with the alternate CD, follow these steps:
1. Mount the cd at /cdrom, with the command: sudo mount -t iso9660 /path/to/cd/iso /cdrom 2. Change to the directory cd /cdrom 3. Execute the upgrade script sudo ./cdromupgrade As mentioned by Shrinivasan in the above mail, the alternate iso is necessary. The live cd iso can't be used to upgrade.
