Thats what matters, and if you have it, you are all set. I would suggest you to read the above page carefully, if you have not already done so, and contact one of the teams of your interest and get started. Apart from this, there are tons of other open source projects that you could contribute to. It all depends on what you are interested in. MOTU teams do more of package management, so if you are interested more in writing code, you could consider other projects also. do have a look at http://sourceforge.net/ Hope this helps.
