Hi guys,

I'm facing a peculiar problem with my Desktop PC.
I recently installed 9.04 on it and as soon as it booted up, I updated it via update-manager, upon which I was asked to reboot.
On rebooting I found that when Grub is loaded, no timeout occurs.
I can manually select the kernel option and boot into fine.

I checked the menu.lst, which was hitherto untouched by me and found that nothing's amiss. The "default", "timeoue", etc. entries are correct and changing their values does not affect this issue.

Any pointers to what might have happened.

Thanks,
Raseel.
Try this command in terminal

*sudo /update/-/grub/ *
