There is a strange error in my friend's pc...... He was up with jaunty....
But due to a sudden power failure, the system got crashed........ After that
the system is not booting and an error message is showing * Kernel panic -
not syncing: Attemptrd to kill init! Dumping ftrace buffer: (ftrace buffer
empty)*.........

He used a live cd to check the filesystem using fsck command....... But
after that many folders and files like /etc/ got missed..........

how to solve this?.
