Hi recently bought a 500 gig external usb hd for backup .
On this i made a few partitions , however i have one problem and one query Problem is that all the partitions are not accessible in my normal user mode - i have to go into sudo mode to access them. How do i change the permissions to make it accessible to my default user second query whenever i attach the device the various partitions pop up, so is there a way of telling ubuntu not to pop up specific partitions everythime they are attached.
