Hi to all, I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 today, along with XP (which I am having for 3 years).
Ubuntu booted back well after the installation, and also updated for the first time. The internet connection 'eth0' was active, then. After starting once again, i could not get the internet "eth0" active. tried the basic & simple ones, compared the connection details in my lapton (Ubuntu 9.04) for the past 3 months. I could not see any difference. In my laptop it is working without anyproblem, from the beginning. I tried installing Mandriva 2009 - it is same for that one too, from the installation stage onwards yesterday. Please help me to connect to the internet "eth0" in ubuntu. My other family members too wants to use Ubuntu - instead of XP. thanks in advance. s.sivakumar chennai
