@ Mehul, If it is 9.10, then it's suffering with this BUG [1]. Recently lot of modem is not working with Network Manager due to introduction of modem manager in 9.10. One example is Reliance Broadband NetConnect+ Huawei EC 1260. But it works fine with wvdial. Workaround is downgrade the NM to 0.7 version. I would also recommend to provide modem / provider information on this page [1] with BUG ID / Vendor ID / Product ID. Here is work around. +++ Go to -> Alt + F2 -> gconf-editor -> /apps/empathy/use_conn -> Uncheck +++ - -- Hardik Dalwadi per...@canonical -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkr6s4oACgkQq1fySL5K4r5pSQCdG/AZvVvim+s1/SlhOODKEPBY tX0AnjCfPXYNdRWju9dYbuDb4+K3aBi8 =IPtZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ubuntu-in mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
