I couldn't actually understand what the problem might be. You can try these:

   - Go to *System>Preferences>Keyboard* (if you already didn't.)


   - Check if the Keyboard model is correct under *Layouts* tab, and correct
   the entries or *reset to default* if you have difficulty setting it up.
   - Go to *Layout Options* and set everything to *Default*.


I will reply here if I come across anything else.
