Ubuntu desktop is as the name suggests for normal mainstream PCs, which have a screen size of 13.1" or above, and it uses the default GNOME desktop with a customized Ubuntu look and feel. The Netbook Remix is for the smaller netbooks which have a screen size of 7 to 12 inches, and the desktop UI is customized for basic usage. You can use either version for any PC as you fancy, though. -- Salvadesswaran Srinivasan http://www.twitter.com/salva_eswar http://queasyquagmire.wordpress.com -- ubuntu-in mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
