Dear all, First of all thanks for the overwhelming support
I had zipped a 600 kb document ( in zip format) and sent it over the the e-mail). After I disconnected the net and clicked to open the zipped folder the OO crashed. I tried restarting number of times. Then i deleted the folder from the desk-top ( where i had placed it originally). Since I had deleted the the zip folder, I again downloaded from the mail I had sent. That is the sequence of what I did. Let me try out the suggestions in this string of mails and will post the result. Thanks again.
