If you are using an MTNL Triband connection, try the following 1]Try wgetting different pages, for example
wget www.google.com wget www.yahoo.co.in 2] Check the IP the sites resolve to (part of the wget output) 3] If they are the same, your router probably switches to the wrong PVC at the times you are not able to load pages.
