Hi An active Statement is often provided by some Mutual Fund Registrars in India (CAMS) as a statement of activity on a mutual fund account. This is also called OFX file which is nothing but a PDF file containing an HTML/XML file that can then directly talk to the Providers servers and retrieve information.
The provider like all else recommends Adobe reader which can handle these files. However I am uncomfortable installing an extremely bloated app (165MB installed) just for these PDF's. Evince cannot handle these and I have contacted the developers who confirm Evince will not support OFX. Any Ideas. I have Lucid x86_64. Regards Narendra Diwate
