I believe liferea caches the content for offline viewing. But I may be
wrong as I never used it in offline mode.

By the way, here is my answer to original request. I along with few
other developers maintain 8085 simulator software. We are always
looking for contributors. Please head to http://www.gnusim8085.org
Apart from that students can always participate in GSoC.
