After making some changes here and there...and unistalling "Boa" (which I had installed and forgotten about) I succeeded in starting Apache. Now the status says its running (and unlike during the problem, it starts on startup) ..
But yet I'm unable to connect to localhost through a browser. What should I do? I was using Apache, until recently, without much problem to simulate a localserver. Thank you for the quick response.
