If you use GCC/G++ in Windows DevCPP) or Linux, Both are almost same. (Do not reply back with TC3 which is 20 year old DOS based stupid software). Also, CodeBlocks , Netbeans and Eclipse are very good IDE. If you say, IDE is not working, I am assuming that you are unable to use IDE. try learning it.
