There are some (18) bad sectors in my friends Asus EEE PC 1000HA. Windows (XP) cannot be loaded, but Ubuntu can be. Is there any way to fix those bad sectors? I have retrieved all the data, and entirely erased and used the HDD. How do I partition the single partition (ext4)? Thanks.
