Dear Sir, Same problem I have faced and facing now too.
Used to think and console myself - that the laptop got heated up, or I have to clean the cache etc. But inspite of doing this, It takes some seconds from going from one page to another, even if it contains only text. some times this happens even if it is only 2 pages - done using libreoffice 3.4.
