Hi,

Follow the steps

There are variants of the Arabic keyboard.

On Gnome, go to System>Administration>Keyboard (you will need to give the
root password)

and check which Arabic keyboard is selected.

De-select it and make it default.

in terminal type sudo apt-get update

sudo reboot

go to System>Administrator>Keyboard and check the Arabic keyboard.

See how it goes???
