Hi

Am searching for a software to generate a Product Catalog with pictures.

The products are organized by type, color, size material, quantity, price,
fabricator - and a picture for each.
This is primarily for offline use or

Till now used Libreoffice Calc Spreadsheet to make the base list and then
added images to each row. A sample image from am earlier catalog is attached

Adding an image was a pain as the products number in the 100's. The images
tend to shift around when generating a pdf.

Have tried Libreoffice Base but
1. Cannot import a spreadsheet and cannot import pictures
2. Tried Kexi (KDE database software) am able to import the spreadsheet and
possibly will be able to add pictures but am unable to find a method to
print the contents into a pdf

The option seems to be to generate the list in Libreoffice Calc - format
the pages in such a way that there is space for the images and then export
these multiple pages as an image file and then import into scribus and
paste the images there. But this seems a terribly inefficient way.

So does anyone have ideas or advice on suitable software or combinations
thereof.

Thanks
Ram
