I had the same problem on Kubuntu Hardy, from a Gutsy dist-upgrade. I managed to find out that Sun Java was working well. The problem was that OpenJDK Java seems to be incompatible with Frostwire, and Hardy selects it by default as JRE. I solved selecting Sun Java with the following command: # update-alternatives --config java -- frostwire fails to load hardy heron https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Java Packaging, which is subscribed to icedtea-java7 in ubuntu (via bug 86103). _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-java Post to : ubuntu-java@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+editemails More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
