On my system, it appears to have detected the DAAP share automatically.
(I didn't have to provide it with a URL.)
Can you see if this is the normal/expected behavior?

I think user first have to enter IP of sharing computer (Music -> Connect do
DAAP share...), then he can see "Shared" section in Side Pane.
