Please consider talking to the folks who develop GDM, which manages the state 
of your login session.

Or, consider contacting the pm-utils development team. pm-utils is a set of 
programs that manages the power state of your machine.

Bug description:
when i try to suspend my session on my laptop, the open session just gets 
locked.
