Two things: 1) This is not a bug in the Ubuntu Manual project, so you need to find a different package to report this against (I suggest compiz; it would be really nice to have this work correctly out-of-the-box). 2) I *know* that a workaround does not constitute a fix; however, if you really really really just want something, anything, to make it work, then I would suggest you look at this post in the Ubuntu Forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1467202#8 - replace 8086:2562 with your own PCIID (lspci -vvnn | grep -i graphic).
