Chapter 6, 'Managing soware through the terminal', 'Installing and removing'
Page 124
By installing vlc there is a line asking for the password (because of sudo).
Removing vlc would also ask for the password but there is no text as it is by
installing.
Either both must have a text like this
[sudo] password for username:
or none of them.
