To all translators, I have just added the pot/po files for the Trusty version to Launchpad, see for example the French page: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual/trusty/+pots/ubuntu-manual/fr The manual Trusty is not string frozen yet, so translators should be aware that some messages can still be modified. That does not mean you cannot start translating; most of the messages will not change. The only precaution you should take in order not to lose your newly made translations is downloading the file from Launchpad. If a message changes, you can copy your translation back and adjust it.
