If you has seen my previous post, I am looking for speakers to talk about neat and upcomming features in ubuntu that make it a great OS. In addition to speakers I am now looking for the following: Volunteers to help pass out pamphlets and cd. Pamphlets and CD to pass out, or information on how to get these cd's and pamphlets in a bulk package. People willing to attend to help out at all.
Once again this event will be a free event for the students of helia, speakers, and my personal invitations. If you would like to come give me an email and we can make arrangements. Currently we have 4 speakers and the date is hopefully going to be set for around september 15th. Free Software Day (w00t!) The speakers are: Matti Ihalmo : Security using linux embeded technology Ulf Buskof: Linux and opensource programming at his workplace Jason Brower: The linux Desktop and it's future (Why doesn't it run more like windows...) Tero Karvinen: What is Open Source/Linux and GPL I hope to get a few more people... anyone willing? IF so... email me and what you would like to talk about. And as always, Mark you are more than invited. -- Jason Brower <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
