Nick, I'm on the Art team and I don't think it's a matter of desire it's a matter of time.
But I agree ... The Art Team and the Marketing Team should be working very close together. The issue may be how to we bring focus to the things we are doing. For example I proposed to Sara the Art team should be very involved in the magazine project. This may actually lead to a split of focus in the art area. Folks focused on desktop art and icons. Folks focused on commercial art to support Ubuntu projects and branding. Something worth discussing. Inclusion/teamwork is one of our values.
