John, I agree with what you are saying, specially the ubuntu branding ideas I think we will partly touch on this in our meeting on Monday when we talk about the magazine identity. I also think that when someon ahs and idea he or she should write a spec and add it on the Lauchpad specs as a braindump so everyone can take a look at it and keep track of changes. I think that sometimes an idea is good, but since it was only posted on the mailing list is get some feedback at the beginning, but it dies. for example the idea of the keepinng blogs for Ubutnu testimonials was nice, but besides some conversation I had on the IRC I haven't hear more from it, I would like to know more about it and maybe I could make comments on the wiki.
