I have added a little to the wiki. I suggest considering a clarification. In the survey suggestion etc I think a) and b) might be blurred as things stand. (a) guide to marketing, (b) to affect marketing, community, and the product facilities, (c) the facilities and development. Clarification? - a) - A potential user of Ubuntu is someone who is likely to use it, almost but not yet actually using it, is maybe attracted to the idea, has heard of it, or has even obtained a cd. (A broader, looser definition of potential user, but not very useful, is anyone who is not using Ubuntu) b) - A new user of Ubuntu is actually using it, has been using it for a short time and is not yet fully conversant with it - say regular use for less than 6 months for most people (not counting experienced linux users of other distros, for them less time) c) - Existing users of Ubuntu - committed users, comfortable with most facilities, with established ways of obtaining information about Ubuntu and its use. (more than 6 months perhaps). -- alan c -- ubuntu-marketing mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-marketing
