How large of an ad did you buy?  The smaller the ad the more concise
your message will have to be.

One big question you have to ask yourself is why did your current and
past linux clients come to you?  Was it the price?  security?
flexibility? The Ubuntu and open source communities?

This answer should help with the slant of your message, along with
inspiring fear in ordinary computer users about Vista.

In my limited spare time I have been trying to get my arms around an
approach advertising Ubuntu in traditional media (i.e. newspaper,
radio, television, etc.).  Since I sell radio advertising, it is very
interesting, however, not exactly a money maker  since I would have to
find someone to pay for the advertising!  ;-)
