Hi Martin, the edubuntu community would benefit greatly from your input
on this too. Please consider cross-posting to edubuntu-users...

A consortium in the Canary islands switched over to Kubuntu stating that
the migration from a windows desktop was easiest to Kubuntu. Some info
on if they agree and how they see this migration could be useful.

BAsically, their motivation would be be of value. Do they see Kubuntu as
a better development environment? Does it have "features" that are more
suited to them? Do they in fact have a preference for KDE above Gnome?

The cost benefit of the move would be interesting to note.

Just some of my initial thoughts.
