Ubuntu does provide some success stories (4 to be precise) on http://www.ubuntulinux.org/products/casestudies. They also want YOU to share your story of your company on http://www.ubuntulinux.org/products/mystory. But this idea is a little bit different hence the contest! To make sure the entries are not cheated, we need a validation of the converted user. I still need to think about this point though. Maybe he should publish his identity (name) or a screenshot of his desktop and mailbox. You can still cheat this competition if you want, but we want fairness and I really believe in the goodness of our contestants. Writing a success story should be easy as actually filling out a template. Questions like "how long did you use Windows or Mac?" or "Is this your first experience with a Ubuntu system". We also need some details such as: In which environment do you use Ubuntu? In a Business environment as a Server or a Desktop? Or in a Home environment? We do need to choose between a qualitative approach versus a quantitative approach: what is the most import thing? a lot of success stories or a few key points We should make it possible to link a personal video of the success story. Last but not least. There should be central website where all the success stories can be read. www.spreadubuntu.com On this website you should also find "tips for sharing Ubuntu with your friends".
