Hello marketing team! Tribe-2 is on the horizon, with next Thursday being the planned release date. Could you create a new testing page [1]?
Things that I see are worth mentioning: - Gnome 2.19.4 - free flash: gnash https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel/2007-June/023825.html - xdg-user-dirs http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2007-May/msg00006.html - desktop-effects package has been killed and replaced by a tab in System -> Settings -> Appearance - Firefox 3.0 alpha (Gran Paradiso) in universe (hopefully, when it builds and initial tests are good) - Possibly: compiz enabled by default on drivers which support it; this will still be brittle, but needs lots of testing; the change hasn't been uploaded yet, though - restricted-manager can painlessly fetch and install Broadcom WiFi firmware (bcm43xx) - Sarah didn't know terribly much about KDE; so far a new amarok (1.4.6) - New language packs (to be uploaded next Monday) - Everything that I forgot, of course :) Thanks muchly, and have a good weekend, Martin [1] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/GutsyGibbon/Tribe2 -- Martin Pitt http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer http://www.ubuntu.com Debian Developer http://www.debian.org
