I do not go along with (that quoted comment) at all. This is a
*Marketing* list!

We should be bringing marketing approaches to the party.
What disadvantages of Ubuntu are listed on the Ubuntu web site?

The ubuntu brand is defined for me by the web site - for national or
international coverage certainly.

For more local coverage - for my personal talks to local computer
clubs say - I expand on some points. For example, people simply are
shocked and incredulous that ubuntu does not need a virus checker!

All ordinary users of windows I know have a friend or family member
(fofm) who they rely upon for all types of support.

I am aware that ubuntu (linux generally) currently lacks enough
coverage to provide enough fofm's. However, some fofm's will take an
interest in Ubuntu, or be prompted by their 'clients' to try Ubuntu.
