Hi, I just installed Ubuntu desktop and that was very exciting, I like this distribution.
I am developing an open source healthcare information system, first for physician practices, then for hospitals. http://www.patientos.org The rich client software is easy to install (run setup.exe, next, next, next, finish) but the server side software requires more effort - install PostgreSQL or Oracle, install JBoss (init.d), etc. Despite this being fairly easy for those with a technical slant, I need it to be plug and play for all docs. Since Ubuntu is very easy to install - I would like to have an Ubuntu distribution which includes PatientOS fully installed, configured and ready for any client to connect to it on a local network. I expect I could do that, but is there Marketing opportunities such that we could have PatientOS included on a regular distribution? thanks Greg Caulton Boston, MA http://www.patientos.org -- ubuntu-marketing mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-marketing
