Greetings! My name is Steve Hatherley and I'm interested in joining the marketing team. I've been a linux user for about 8 years, and have been loyal to Ubuntu since Dapper. I work for a market research firm in Houston, and hope I can apply some of what I've learned from work here.
I was looking through the list of current and pending projects and noticed that there is a survey effort, it's status is "getting started" but that there has been no activity on the Wiki since 2006. Were the surveys ever launched? If so, what method of survey hosting was used to collect the data? Is there still anyone actively working on the survey effort? If no one is currently leading this project I would love to be allowed to pick it up and keep things moving forward. Cheers!
