Greetings Ubuntu Marketing!

Vancouver, BC, Canada: We do things a little differently. Our release parties are parties in the pure sense: Music, dancing, performers, food, drink, fun!

Not one computer in sight. (We don't let them past the door crew). Not one install happening. Just a celebration of Ubuntu, in the Humanity sense, not the software sense. (We have other events for tech.)

Here's the issue: People are confused by parties that aren't parties. (Install-fests, etc.)

Any suggestions how we might make that clear(er)? Looking for your best ideas.

Cheers,
Randall
