I have been trying to get ubuntu-mobile running on my own eeepc and have not had much luck with the image creator. I created an image a few weeks ago and wrote it to a usb key and it failed to fully boot.
What I am currently doing is running a regular hardy and have installed the ubuntu-mobile package. I start from a .desktop entry in grub which calls the start-hildon scrip from the wiki. What are the differences between a full install and installing the metapackage? --- Rusty Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have personally never tried the recently added > liveCD functionality. > Perhaps Praj has an idea? > > BTW... you don't have a USB key handy?
