Hello every one ! First I apologize if I sent a mail to the wrong place !
I am using ubuntu Hardy on a Quad Core 2.4 GHz, 4 Gb RAM, NVidia 8800GT I tried to compile qc-usb drivers for my Logitech Quickcam Express and got a compilation error with qc-usb-source 0.6.6.2. It seems to be due to the kernel version wich is not compatible ! I found that a debian patch exists, qc-usb 0.6.6-4 ! As my webcam is detected in lsusb and works with camorama (but very slow) but not with cheese and Skype (they just not detect a cam device !?) If your team is already working on it I apologize twice, if the problem is only mine could you send me a thread to follow instructions (As I am a developer who migrates from $soft quite now, I can be considered a noob ) Thanks for your job.
