Hi Andrea, Thanks by you answer. Yes, I have tech reasons to use VTK 5.4: - I use VTKEdge too ( requires VTK 5.4 ) - I use the new vtkWidget design and a lot of other improvements. But, of course, I think VTK isn't so widely used, and I know the conservative policies applied to Debian packages. I asked for two reasons: - Are possible an update, without breaking Debian policies? - Are someone interested in a ITK package too? And, of course: can I help? ( for example, creating the ITK package )
