gsoap doesn't authenticate in 12.04LTS

The gsoap package in precise (12.04LTS) is old and buggy, and clients do 
not authenticate because the call to soap_s2base64 is done before 
inserting the credentials; it needs to be done after. This bug came from 
the author's source.  The version of gsoap in precise is more than two 
years old.  Even the version from raring is 18 months old, but has that 
bug fixed.

Recommend you release a later version to LTS.
