Hi, MOTU developers are listed as package maintainer for http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/environment-modules
There is a long existing bug in the package and even though a patch has been provided there has been no activity on the bug tracker, see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/modules/+bug/1056014 It would be really great if someone could look into this. The bug and patch are trivial imo.
