ubuntu-motu is not a very effective contact for these kinds of questions. 
This package is synchronized from Debian, and it's unlikely anyone here has
specific knowledge about this package.  I suggest you contact the Debian
maintainer - either Andreas whose email address is listed above, or the
Debian Med Packaging Team <debian-med-packag...@lists.alioth.debian.org>.
