As indicated by the subject, there is a patch available for the Hauppauge HVR
950Q that fixes a problem mythtv has with it.
It has not made it into the kernel 3.2.0 for *buntu 12.04 yet, and I was
wondering how to get it included in it.
I have a reference to the modifications made to the kernel tree by Devin
Heitmueller as below, a couple of months ago:
FYI: the problem in the au0828 driver has been identified and a fix
is pending to go upstream.

Without the referenced patch, mythtv crashes when trying to access the analog
part of the tuner.
