Originally new sphinx release was planned for December/January, but it is still not released, and they even didn't reply to my mail (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/sphinx-dev/-ZKSt_IxMXY/zieq8euRvSoJ) :( I'll try to ask them one more time about that, and if the result will be negative, I'll cherry-pick some fixes to raring and then do a SRU. This is not ideal, and some parts (i.e. code blocks which are not monospace) are still broken. Another problem was missing character map, I've proposed a pull request to Sphinx for that.
